some personal sites that i like visiting and reading! i'll add more sites later :P

  • if you think your taste in games is niche, one look at anita's site will make you feel like a Fortnite player or something LOL. i really admire her passion and dedication to what she loves. i dont think many people truly love videogames as much as she does. i enjoy reading her reviews so much!

  • if you miss those sites that asked you to have flash installed in order to see them this one is for u... pays homage to the old web in a way not many other sites do. comes from a place of true admiration towards 2000s web design instead of simply trying to evoke nostalgia, and it really shows. beautiful, unique layouts in each page, and i like reading the content in them as well.

  • the best webcomic with a super cool website... i could stare at each page for so long just looking at all the little details and references hidden in the background. i love the way it talks about art and life and underground music scenes. makes me wish i didnt give up on learning how to play the guitar after 8 chords.

  • music lovers you need to check out alice's site! i love reading the concert diary entries and i love reading about how much she loves her favorite band thursday. (my phoenix shrine was inspired by hers!) a site with so much personality and so many cool designs, it reminds me of reading magazines as a teen.

  • if you enjoy my blog posts please know i stole all my blogging and writing swag from anne hero LOL. my favorite blog to read and reread. i specifically recommended reading blog 012 to a lot of people, thats a life changing blog entry... also check out her super cool shop and head over to the "jungle" section to hear some awesome mixes!

  • this site literally would not exist if it wasn't for malice! true evanescence lover, website lover, and also the responsible for making like 10 people (and counting) get into indie web dev and start their own sites, including me! truly dedicated to the cause i'm very thankful to them... check out the blog and shrine pages!

  • QUE VIVA LA WEB DE MEME!! considero que captura el estilo del viejo internet de una forma muy especial y personal. esta página no intenta ser o mostrar ninguna otra cosa que no sea la web de meme y es algo que aprecio mucho. todas las páginas son interesantes, divertidas o graciosas, vale la pena clickear en todos los botones.

  • how could i Not talk about humanfinny!! one of my first mutuals and probably the most iconic website on neocities, it feels like such a central part of the indie web!! i love how they connect the community together through a ton of beautifully designed fanlistings and cliques.

  • fellow pizzicato five enjoyer, love checking his site for music recommendations! he does not discriminate any genres or styles so i never know what i'm gonna get when i click on an album he recommends. it's awesome. i really appreciate sites that don't leave their monthly music reviews/logs abandoned after 3 entries lol
