hello! i am an argentinian college student with too many hobbies, and this website is my latest one! i'm a musician/producer & begginer DJ and i sing/songwrite sometimes.

i found electronic music and instantly fell in love with it when i was around 14 y/o... it blew my mind!! that was when i started connecting with music on a deeper level than just something listen to in the background or in car rides. i spent hours n hours on spotify and youtube searching for new music and artists and trying to learn a bit more about this huge genre that since then has always been present in my life.

after like a year of listening to mostly house i found a track that sounded unlike anything else i had heard before, and i asked a friend of a friend (only person i knew of who listened to electronic music) if they knew wtf the genre was because i was simply Amazed by it... and thats how i found out about drum and bass!! i was 15/16 so it was a very EDM-monstercat-youtuber intro type of dnb lol but it really made my music taste evolve regardless, and eventually led me to find its predecessors and subgenres. i think that with drum and bass i felt like i found the kind of music i liked the most for the first time.

as for me making music, i think i downloaded FL studio for the first time in 2016? but there was a long period where even though i made songs every now and then i didn't make the genres i actually wanted to make because i thought i would suck at it and i'd never compare to the artists i liked + didn't really have much motivation anyway or things to make music about + etc idk lol

for whatever reason it didn't click until 2021 when i started playing videogames and wanted to express my love for them somehow, and i thought music would be a good way to do that. the need to make art dedicated to the things i like was stronger than my fear of failing and making shitty music so i guess it gave me the confidence to give my favorite genres (dnb and jungle) a try, and so thats how lydels started...
