hello! i am an argentinian college student with too many hobbies, and this website is my latest one! i'm a musician/producer & begginer DJ and i sing/songwrite sometimes. i started releasing music in 2022.

me, my music & the things i love

i found electronic music and instantly fell in love with it when i was around 14 y/o... it blew my mind!! music was something i'd only pay attention to casually before that, and all of a sudden i'd be staying up late searching for new tracks and artists, and watching tomorrowland DJ sets as any teenager into EDM would do :P

after like a year of exploring EDM i found a track that sounded unlike anything else i had heard before, and i asked a friend of a friend (only person i knew of who listened to electronic music) if they knew wtf it was because i was simply Amazed by it... they told me it was a subgenre called "drum and bass" and that's how i found the kind of music i make today! or kinda, because i was 15/16 so it was a very EDM-monstercat-minecraft tutorial type of music lol but it really made my music taste evolve regardless, and eventually led me to find its predecessors and history.

as for me making music, i think i downloaded FL studio for the first time in 2016. but there was a long period where even though i made songs every now and then, i didn't make the genres i actually wanted to make because i thought i'd never be able to compare to the artists i liked + didn't really have much motivation or things to make music about anyway + etc lol

for whatever reason it didn't click until 2021. i started playing videogames and i really wanted to express my love for them somehow, and i thought music would be a good way to do that. the need to make art dedicated to the things i like was stronger than my fear of failing and making shitty music so i guess it gave me the confidence to give it a try, and that's how lydels started...
